There are three engine options available for the 2021 Blazer. The L and 1LT come standard with an EcoTec 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque. The 2LT, 3LT, and Premier boast a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that delivers 227 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. For the most power, choose the RS' standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine to generates 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. All three engines are matched to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
For an advanced level of traction, choose a Blazer outfitted with the available all-wheel-drive system. In addition to improved road grip, the all-wheel-drive system also gives you access to extra drive modes, including Off-Road, Tow/Haul, and Sport modes. Properly equipped, the 2021 Blazer can tow up to 4,500 pounds. The Blazer's already respectable fuel economy is improved by the automatic engine stop/start feature. All this, coupled with the spirited available engines, makes for a versatile SUV that suits today's needs every day.
Interior
