The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 comes in eight trim level options: the bare-bones Work Truck (WT), then the Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and top-of-the-line High Country. Depending on the trim level, the Silverado can be outfitted with a regular, double, or crew cab and the 69.9-inch short bed, the 79.4-inch standard bed, or the 98.1-inch long bed. The new Silverado 1500 has 10 factory paint colors to choose from.

Available exterior features include the Multi-Flex configurable tailgate, in-bed LED lighting system, a power up/down tailgate feature, and special edition appearance packages. The Silverado offers a best-in-class 89.1 cubic feet of standard cargo bed volume to let you pack everything you need for today's trips.

This year's Silverado 1500 has five engine options to choose from. The entry-level 4.3-liter V-6 produces 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. Next up is a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that offers 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque. The 5.3-liter V-8 delivers 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. The strongest gasoline option, the 6.2-liter V-8, generates 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This year's diesel option is a 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel that produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. These engines are matched with either a six-speed, eight-speed, or 10-speed automatic transmission.

Properly equipped, the 2021 Silverado 1500 can tow up to 13,300 pounds and handle up to a 2,280-pound payload. Tough hauling jobs are now easier thanks to the Silverado 1500's towing tech that includes the maximum 15 camera views, trailer sway control, an integrated trailer brake controller, and an auto grade braking system. When outfitted with the diesel engine, the 2021 Silverado 1500 is America's most fuel-efficient pickup.

Inside the new Silverado, you'll find plenty of features to enhance your drives. There are more features the further up the trim levels you go. For extra storage space, choose a model with the available rear seat-back and under-seat storage compartments. The Silverado seats up to five passengers and offers best-in-class front headroom and legroom, as well as more room for rear-row drivers than the previous generation offered.

Available and standard tech features include the touch-screen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 15-inch head-up display, and a premium navigation system.
