Trim Levels (Exterior)
For 2023, Chevy has offered four trims for the Trailblazer: the base LS, LT, RS, and ACTIV. Starting with the LS, you will find 17-inch silver painted wheels, an intermittent rear wiper, and halogen headlights with automatic light control. Opting for the LT gives you features like heated power outside mirrors and deep-tinted glass.
For the RS, upgrades include black fascias and dual-outlet exhaust with round polished tips for that little extra aesthetic. Finally, the ACTIV rolls down the road on 17-inch high gloss black aluminum wheels wrapped in sport terrain tires and features LED taillights.
Engine (Power)
Two engines are available for the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer, depending on which trim you select. The two lower-level trims, the LS and LT, feature an ECOTEC 1.2-liter turbocharged engine coupled with a continuously variable automatic transmission delivering 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque.
The upper two trims, the RS and ACTIV, offer a slightly upgraded engine in the form of a 1.3-liter ECOTEC turbocharged engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission producing 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. The fuel economy is outstanding, checking in at an EPA-estimated 33 mpg rating for highway driving.
Performance
The standard drivetrain is a front-wheel drive, but an all-wheel-drive system is offered to handle rougher terrain and inclement weather better. Three available drive modes allow you to tailor the drive to the conditions or your preference, as you can select from Normal, Sport, and All-Wheel Drive/Snow. To further assist fuel economy, automatic stop/go technology shuts down the engine at idle. If you have some smaller recreational vehicles or extra gear, you can bring that with the 1,000-pound towing capacity.
Interior
Comfort and convenience surround you in the cabin of the 2023 Chevy Trailblazer. The base LS offers interior features like a 60/40-split folding rear bench seat that gives you a few configuration options to divide the space between cargo and passengers as needed. In addition, standard features include a 7-inch touchscreen with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System, cloth seats, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Opting for the LT gets you heated front seats, a remote start, and a power-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support. Finally, moving up to the RS gets you a heated steering wheel and leatherette and cloth seating.
Safety Features
